When Nikolas runs into estranged wife Ava at the Metro Court, he pulls her aside to tell her that Martin has begun processing their divorce. Though he agreed to dissolve their union in light of Ava’s stalker-related angst, Marcus Coloma (Nikolas) notes, “Nikolas is definitely very against the divorce. In his mind, the stalker has yet to hurt anybody and he is very convinced that it is not an actual, harmful threat — and he definitely isn’t one to back down or be intimidated by a stalker. That said, he is aware of Ava’s concern for her daughter, and even though he doesn’t think that Avery is really in danger, Ava is very traumatized by this, and in her mind, them being together equals, ‘Her daughter could be killed,’ because her [other] daughter [Kiki]
