Matthew Ashford returns to Salem on December 20 for a very special episode involving Jack’s son, JJ.

“They called and said, ‘We have an idea for some story,’ and I said, ‘Well, that’s great. I’m always interested in that,’ ” explains the actor of how the comeback came about. “It’s an intense little story coming up for the holidays. It turned out I got a chance to work with Casey Moss, he’s playing Jack Jr., and a little bit with Missy [Reeves, Jennifer], and I met Marci Miller, the new actress who’s playing Abigail, as well. We didn’t have a scene, but I almost felt like we did, because I hung out with her.”
