Queen In' Over Controversy

Kangana needs no introduction, but this reigning queen of controversy has certainly given a lot of people a tough time. Her actions may have bagged her 3 National Awards but her words undoubtedly made many uncomfortable. It was not only Hrithik Roshan whom Kangana thrashed with the sword of her harsh words, filmmaker Karan Johar, writer Apurva Asrani, director Ketan Mehta, Women’s Commission and many got to be in front of Kangana’s firing squad. Before the release of Simran, Kangana reopened old wounds - from Hrithik Roshan to all her exes – all got a taste of her vitriolic attack. But was it well-planned publicity window dressed as the bold bashing of a feminist or was it just white wash to garner publicity for Simran? Whatever it was, it didn’t work as Simran bombed at the Box office.

ACID TEST

Hansal Mehta’s Simran starring the Queen Kangana is out in the theatres and the grades aren’t all that great. Before the release, the movie did get a lot of publicity with all the controversies unearthed by Kangana. But nothing seems to have helped, not even her fracas with Hrithik Roshan, KJo, Adhyayan Suman, Aditya Pancholi, Shekhar Suman or writer Apurva Asrani.
