First-timer Jenna Kelley pops her cruising cherry sailing from Japan to China

Before stepping aboard the mighty Columbus, I had never been on a cruise liner. My partner had tried to convince me to do so for some time, but I’d always been quite sceptical of its so-called fun factor. As it turns out, cruises are for me!

CABIN FEVER

From the moment we boarded the ship in Yokohama, Japan, to the moment we returned to dry land in Tianjin, China, we felt like royalty. Setting up shop in a spacious Ocean View cabin, complete with a walk-in wardrobe, flat-screen TV and, as the name suggests, an amazing view of the ocean, we were blown away by the staff, who went above and beyond to keep us well fed and entertained.
