Unable To Reach A Custody Agreement, The Exes Prepare To Tell All In Front Of A Judge

More than two years have passed since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt – and since then, the exes haven’t been able to come to an agreement on custody of their six kids. Now, after months and months of trading barbs both publicly and privately, deadlocked Brad and Angie are heading to trial.

‘The divorce has gotten off-the-charts ugly, and Brad and Angelina are ready to expose each other’s deepest and darkest secrets in court in order to achieve their goals,’ says a friend, noting that Ange wants sole custody while Brad is after shared custody. ‘Brad is meeting with lawyers every other day – he’s tired of Angelina making him out to be the worst father in the world.’

It’s hard to imagine their divorce war getting worse. But it’s about to – a judge is set to hear every sordid accusation and detail of their bust-ups. ‘They don’t physically go to the court house,’ explains LA-based family law attorney Goldie Schon. ‘Their actual court hearings are in a conference room in somebody’s office with a judge. A trial for custody, in their case with all the kids and the witnesses, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a 20- or 30-day trial.’
