-
As an organisation, IFC (International Finance Corporation, a part of the World Bank Group) is committed towards all aspects of sustainability. Green buildings are at the core of IFC’s efforts towards sustainable development.
In the second leg of the virtual webinar that IFC is organising along with Construction Week, the spotlight was on Achieving Competitive Advantage with Green Warehouses. With e-commerce on the uptick, it was important to find out how much of the recently completed and ongoing warehousing projects are looking at green in a holistic manner.
Held on October 29, the panel was moderated by Sandeep Singh, Senior Consultant, IFC. The panellists comprised Mark Selvaraj, MD, Landtech AEPC; Goutam Saha, Head of Contracts & Purchase and Executive Council Member, Projects Division, ITC; Jeet Shah, Director, FWS; Mridul Upreti, Sector Lead, Tourism, Retail & Property, IFC; and Mandar Shinde, Technical Lead, ESR India.
Here are some of the points made during the hour-and-along panel discussion.
