As far as friendships in Bollywood go, Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra take the cake. Their shenanigans on Instagram are extremely popular with their fans and their chemistry is evident both on and off screen. The same rapport translates into brilliant films that are a treat to watch. We saw them make their lead role debuts in Ishaqzaade back in 2012 and they will soon be appearing in Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Namaste England. A sequel to the 2007 blockbuster hit Namastey London, the film explores the love story of a small town girl and a troubled metropolitan boy—the kind of tale you can spend hours obsessing over while you hold hands with your significant other and try to fight back the tears. That’s the kind of strong emotion both Kapoor and Chopra evoke when they’re paired together on screen. Off screen, they’re able to elicit emotions of a completely different nature. While Kapoor is extremely funny with his anecdotes and mannerisms, Chopra is constantly animated and strongly opinionated. Together, they’re a treat to have in a room together.
