It’s a pleasure to be featured in the magazine!

Well, this car is the second one that we built at Capital Auto two years ago. The first one was very successful so we thought why not build another?

It’s always been my dream to build classic cars such as this and it’s as fun to drive as it looks. I had a 1968 Cadillac DeVille, which was a fabulous car but a totally different experience from this one. My Shelby offers such a thrill behind the wheel. In fact, I have to say that it’s a raw beast of a car; either you control it or you have had it!

It has a 5.0-litre V8 under the bonnet; how much power is it putting out?

It makes 415 horses which is an impressive number in its own right — but couple that to a lightweight body and chassis and I think you get the idea that this has more than enough poke! It goes like a rocket; the V8 is mated to a six-speed manual transmission and it really is an exceptional combination.
