A leading provider of on-road load handling equipment, intelligent services and digitally connected solutions, Hiab has launched Multilift Commander for container handling. Part of the Finland based Cargotec Corporation, Hiab, offering class-leading load-handling equipment that includes loader cranes, forestry and recycling cranes, truck mounted forklifts, demountables, tail lifts, crane control system, and others, has developed Multilift Commander to handle containers safely and efficiently in locations where no infrastructure exists to load or unload containers from a truck. Terming the new development as an innovative logistics application for efficient container handling, the company, further expanding its offerings under the Multilift range, orginally developed to address the logistics needs of governmental organisations, upon finding out that it could be applied to address other requirements as well. The Multilift systems was developed for container handling where there is no infrastructure available.
