My name’s Mike Lawrence, aka Eyeball Mike. I’m based in Ely, Cambridgeshire but travel all over the UK to paint. I would say that my specialty is lettering, but any spare time I have to practice is spent on pinstriping. I first started learning about 11 years ago, having had some invaluable advice from MadDanny. I spent the first year with my Alan Johnson ‘How to pinstripe’ book and the infamous pinhead-lounge website. I put two hours in a night for well over a year – not focussing on design, just getting to grips with the basics.
