The project is a vibrant and exciting new home for the premier institute. Spread over an area of 500 acres close to Satluj River, the project was awarded through a two-stage design competition.
The master plan proposal used the heart of the irregular site to create an iconic campus with three distinct building and use zones, planned around a linear landscaped pedestrian spine. This pedestrian spine thus becomes the all-day hub of campus movements across various zones and buildings.
