In the last quarter, life started feeling overwhelming. Despite using my ‘natural parenting’ toolkit, my zest for life dwindled. I realized my cup was empty. With William almost 5 years old, I'd never been away from him for more than a day. So, I booked into the Whitsunday Health & Wellness Retreat. Though daunting, it was what I needed. The weekend included morning yoga, mindfulness exercises, and meditation. Afternoon sessions focused on personal transformation and self-love. I left rejuvenated and ready to give back to my family. The retreat taught me a crucial lesson: It's impossible to give your best when your cup is empty. Self-care is essential for caring for others.

Fundamentally, Nurture advocates the principles of Attachment Parenting, and the Attachment Theory – A Secure Base for Babies and Parents. Attachment is a deep and enduring emotional bond that connects one person to another across time and space (Ainsworth, 1973; Bowlby, 1969).

Our philosophy is to nourish the most important bonds, first with yourself, then with your family and close relationships, and are both WHO (World Health Organisation) and TGA (Therapeutic Goods Administration) compliant.
