Research is mixed, but a recent data analysis suggests that having allergies may be associated with a rise in blood pressure and a greater risk of heart disease. The study looked at various types-hay fever, dermatological allergies, and allergies to pets and foods-not just the seasonal kind that take over in spring and autumn.
