Marian has raised thousands over the past two decades

For Marian Byfield, no proper morning tea is complete without a pot of freshly brewed tea and a few platters of delicious cakes, scones and other sweet treats.
The 74-year-old from Fremantle, WA tells Woman's Day she's ready to enjoy a delicious spread with her nearest and dearest as she prepares to host her 20th Biggest Morning Tea this month, to support the Cancer Council.
"In 2005, Iwas asked by our local yacht club to be the president of their social committee, which gave me the perfect venue to host the Biggest Morning Tea," Marian shares.
"We had 100 people attending from the get-go and the club's chef made some scones with jam and cream, and it just grew from there."
