Friends and family have remembered the icon for his sage advice and merry ways

Friends have paid tribute to Australia's first- and favourite - celebrity doctor Dr James Wright. The beloved TV personality, author and Woman's Day columnist, died peacefully in his sleep late last month, 10 years after his wife of 57 years Noreen passed away similarly, and just days before his 95th birthday.
The Morning Show's Peter Ford led the tributes, calling him a "remarkable human being" "He was great TV talent... he was always so affable and charming and funny," he added, while 2GB's Ben Fordham called him "eccentric, intelligent and a joy to be around".
