The wedding invites are in the post... and her ex isn't happy

Ben Affleck has been calling on all his acting abilities, putting on a “happy and excited” front for ex-wife Jennifer Garner, who has reportedly set a date for her upcoming nuptials to tech mogul John Miller.

Friends say the Oscar-winning actor, 53, who shares three kids with 53-year-old Jen - Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Sam, 13 - has been “licking his wounds” since Jen handed him a “save the date” card early in September just after a family movie night with Ben’s mum.

“Ben truly wants her to be happy and knows John can do that in ways he’s unable,” says a pal.

“But it's another reminder of his failures - and a door that’s about to close for good.” While Ben and Jen have maintained a strong co-parenting bond since their 13-year marriage ended in 2018, he’s feeling the weight of the upcoming shift, despite him having gone through several high-profile romances and a second divorce as Jen and John’s romance slowly blossomed.
