Would you stand by your parents NO MATTER WHAT?

As allegations continue about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, his daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, are said to be 'in deep pain' as a result of the latest scandals

Would you stand by your parents NO MATTER WHAT?

Most of us like to think we would stand by our parents through anything. After all, they raised us, loved us and shaped who we are.

But what would happen if your mum or dad did something that made you question that loyalty? What if they made choices that left you feeling hurt, angry or ashamed? It's a predicament Princesses Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, know all too well. Their father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, is facing fresh scrutiny over his finances and his ties to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Last month, the former prince was stripped of his royal titles by his brother, the King.

He continues to deny accusations against him, while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson also remains caught in the fallout of the Epstein scandal.

According to royal insiders, their daughters, who retain their titles, are torn between loyalty and preserving their own image, and while they have offered comfort to their parents in private, it's said they are seeking to keep their distance in public.

Although most of us would never face that level of scrutiny, if your parents' actions brought embarrassment, pain or moral conflict, would you still stand by them?

There's something strange about us Brits. Why are we so nostalgic for the cuisine of yesteryear? I don't believe food was better in my childhood - quite the opposite.
