A highly anticipated week of the fashion season, Milan Fashion Week 2024 entered the Milan runway with an energetic roar as global designers and prominent personalities brought their A-game to the fashion capital. Held twice annually in February and September, this year’s Spring Summer fashion week was organised from September 17th to 23rd, 2024, at various locations across the largest city of Italy.

Renowned luxury brands like Fendi and Marni showcased their haute couture collections on Day 1 of the Milan Fashion Week. Fendi marks its 100th anniversary in 2025 and womenswear director Kim Jones roped in the celebrations early as the collection took viewers back to the 1920s with silhouettes like dropped waist and flapper. Marni stuck to its bold approach and presented a fantastical collection on the runway. Models wore Napoleonic hats, arty prints on stiff fabrics and voluminous skirts all with eyebrows that were painted upon them in unique shapes.
