For its 75th anniversary, the legendary Positano resort Le Sirenuse debuts a beach club.
CLOCKWISE FROM FAR LEFT Carla and Antonio Sersale (center), the owners of Le Sirenuse Mare, a beach club in Nerano, Italy, with their sons Aldo and Francesco; a cabana on the upper terrace; the beach club's boutique; alfresco dining; a waterfront lounge.
ANTONIO SERSALE SPENT 30 years looking for the perfect spot to put a beach club worthy of the guests of Le Sirenuse, his family’s hotel in Positano, Italy. In 2020, he finally found it: a 27,000-square-foot patch of seafront in Nerano, 25 minutes away by boat. Opened in April in time for the hotel’s 75th year in operation, Le Sirenuse Mare—which has a restaurant, three bars, and an Emporio Sirenuse shop founded by Antonio’s wife, Carla—is spread over a series of terraces descending to the sea.
