INTUIT STRIKES MULTI-YEAR DEAL WITH OPENAI TO EMBED AI MODELS IN FINANCIAL TOOLS

Services such as TurboTax, QuickBooks and Credit Karma will gain embedded Al features that connect to OpenAl's ChatGPT platform, enabling conversational access to tax preparation, personal-loan assessment and financial-planning tools. While the companies have not disclosed the full duration of the contract, the collaboration signals a deeper integration of generative-Al capabilities into mainstream financial-software workflowsAccording to public disclosures, the deal is designed to leverage Intuit’s proprietary financial-data assets, credit-model frameworks and domain expertise alongside OpenAl's scale and frontier Al systems. The objective is to allow users who link their Intuit accounts with ChatGPT to receive interactive guidance—including tax-refund estimates, mortgage or loan comparisons and business-cash-flow forecasts—within the conversational interface. In pre-market trading following the announcement, Intuit’s shares rose approximately three percent, underscoring investor attention to Al-related initiatives across fintech.
