While Tag Heuer's design team hasn't reinvented the wheel, it has refined every curve and edge for its fifth-gen smartwatch. The E5 comes in two sizes – 40mm and 45mm – both with sharper lugs, smoother pushers and a more seamlessly integrated strap. The former suits smaller wrists; the latter has more presence but is surprisingly lightweight if you opt for titanium.

The larger variant's 1.39in AMOLED display has more pixels and is bright enough to see clearly outdoors. Colours are lively, with deep blacks that add to the whole 'real watch' vibe.
