What's the story?

The PS VR2 shames its predecessor with a 4K OLED display — four times the old PS VR's resolution — offering a wide 110° field of view, monochrome passthrough and eye tracking. Plus, those ancient PS Move wands have been replaced with huge Sense controllers packing adaptive triggers, finger tracking and haptic feedback.

Is it any good?

Though I found the connecting wire trailing down my back irksome, the PS VR2 is quite formidable. I loved chucking and catching my drumsticks in Drums Rock. However, it's pricey for a non-self-contained headset and desperately needs more exclusives. That said, the new PC adapter allows connectivity with gaming PCs and the SteamVR catalogue, so you no longer need to fork out for a PS5.
