BEST DEAL €5 (₤4.34) per month from mullvad.net RENEWAL PRICE €5 (£4.34) per month
Mullvad is, superficially at least, a no-frills service. It certainly has the simplest ricing scheme around: it costs €5 per month every month, for as long as you might want to subscribe. No discounts, no renewal fees, no limited-time-one-day-left-subscribe-NOW offers. You'll be charged in euros, and at the time we checked that worked out at £4.34 – that’s the second most expensive price here, but remember that you only need to pay for this VPN when you need it.
Those who want extra privacy can pay using cryptocurrency, using a gift card or even by posting an envelope full of cash. The only negative to note here is that Mullvad recently reduced its money-back guarantee period to 14 days, the EU minimum; previously it was 30 days, which is more typical among VPN providers.
