MAKEROOM is a meditation in creativity, even if you're not that creative

I'm not an interior designer, far from it, so I often shy away from decorating in games like The Sims or Animal Crossing. As long as it's functional I don't really care, and would rather focus on the more practical aspects. So, deciding to play cosy sandbox designing game MakeRoom might sound like a very odd choice for me at best, and a recipe for disaster at worst.

The whole goal of MakeRoom is to... design a room. You're plonked into an almost blank slate where you can tweak everything from the layout, wallpaper and flooring, to placing items, effects, or changing the weather and soundscape. It was a lot to take in, and inspiration didn't strike me, but I made a fireplace, a bedroom, and a gamer station.
