CEO TRACK DAY 2025

When Business Minds Went Flat Out
What happens when you take some of the sharpest minds in the country away from their spreadsheets, boardrooms, and balance sheets—and hand them the keys to a full-sized, seven-seater, 201bhp flagship SUV on a rain-soaked track? We did exactly that!On June 19, 2025, we hosted the BBC Top Gear Magazine India CEO Track Day at the Raymond Race Track in Thane.
And the weather? Well, let's just say Mumbai wasn't holding back. Yes, it poured. It poured like we'd asked for it. Because what's a good story without a bit of drama, a lot of unpredictability, and a track soaked in challenge? From an early morning drizzle to a full-on monsoon downpour, the stage was set. Rain jackets on. Wipers flaring. Tyre pressures at optimum. CEOs buckled up.
MOOD ON THE TRACK:SERIOUS BUSINESS GOES SIDEWAYS
Our goal for the day was simple: help the top management from the top companies forget about the world they usually command and just focus on the course we lay ahead. Grown men, heads of multi-million dollar companies, suddenly transformed into wide-eyed children.
Some confessed they'd only ever done hot laps in video games. One said, "I feel like Schumacher preparing for Monaco." And we believed him. It was that kind of adrenaline-filled day.
When you're strapped into a car, with rain drumming the roof and the track gleaming slick beneath you, everything else just fades away. There's no boardroom, no investor calls. Just you, the machine, and the clock. But of course, we didn't just throw them in and wish them luck. Safety comes first—especially when the weather's writing its own script.
