HUANG'S BULLISH OUTLOOK ON QUANTUM

Huang stated that quantum computing is nearing a stage where it can tackle "interesting problems" in fields requiring complex computations, marking a more optimistic view than his earlier predictions. Previously, at an investor meeting in January 2025, he suggested that "very useful" quantum computers were 15 to 20 years away, a comment that triggered a sharp decline in quantum computing stocks like Rigetti Computing, lonQ, and D-Wave Quantum. Huang later acknowledged that those remarks were misinterpreted, expressing surprise at the market's reaction during his GTC Paris address. His updated stance emphasizes that quantum systems are "within reach" of delivering practical solutions, driven by advancements in technology and growing industry momentum.
