Roebuck targets England success

WINNING a maiden England Test cap to top the best season of his career will not be enough for Sale winger Tom Roebuck.
He wants more and with the new campaign looming the predatory Sharks wideman is aiming to reach new heights.
Homegrown Roebuck, 23, bagged the first Premiership hat-trick of his career against Exeter in March and earned a place in the Red Rose squad for the summer tour of Japan and New Zealand.
He came on against the Brave Blossoms for his senior bow and is already plotting towards the autumn series against New Zealand, South Africa and Australia.
Scotland-born Roebuck told The Rugby Paper: “Am I living out my boyhood dream? I’d definitely say so. You look back at what’s happened this year and it’s certainly been special – I’ll probably cherish it even more when I’m older.
“I went to a senior England training camp in Jersey under Eddie Jones in 2022 and really enjoyed it. As soon as I had that taste, it made me want it even more so to make my senior debut in the summer was fantastic.
