LAB REPORT
Golf US
|November - December 2025
If there's one company that's disrupting what players think of putters, it's L.A.B. Golf. Here's why it's finding favor with pros and ams alike, and also how it's making the rest of the putting industry stand up and take notice.
FOR THE LAST TWO YEARS, L.A.B. GOLF has dominated the putter market. Not only has it erupted in the consumer marketplace at every level, but the professional game seems to have more L.A.B. putters in play every week. Additionally, at this point, just about every other OEM has jumped on board with the super low torque, toe-up style design with a similar offering of their own.
Rocket-powered success. But what comes next for the Oregon-based manufacturer? From this writer’s desk: excitement. With a new season just around the corner, many are wondering if L.A.B. can continue as one of the manufacturing world’s thought leaders, conjuring solutions to players’ putting problems (and strengths) with new materials, designs and innovations—something all OEMs deal with every day. Even more interesting is the opportunity that’s arisen with its recent partnership with private equity investor L Catterton.
