Whether it's Truro to Gateshead or Kilmarnock to Aberdeen, fans love nothing more than bragging about the epic pilgrimages they've made to watch their teams in action.

But there's one Birmingham City fan that takes the crown when it comes to long-distance support. Not only is boyhood Blue John Sims often found at St Andrew's, he's also a regular at Santos. Yep, that Santos. In Brazil.

“Across 2025, I managed to get to 38 Birmingham games and 19 Santos matches,” he proudly tells FourFourTwo. “I’m hoping to beat that tally this year. I go home and away with both clubs as much as I can. I got to 10 away fixtures with Santos last year, and I'm sure I don’t need to tell you how massive Brazil is. The longest one took me three days each way via bus, but usually it’s only around 36 hours there and back.”
