Mein wins in West Yorkshire, while Drake takes 10th

Fion Drake and Thomas Mein wrapped up the women's and men's National Trophy Series titles respectively at round five in West Yorkshire on Sunday - but although Mein powered to a fifth consecutive win, it wasn't the perfect race that Drake had hoped for.

A crash at last weekend’s World Cup race in France left the Wheelbase CabTech Castelli rider with a lung contusion and bruised ribs, but she still chose to ride at the Hunsworth Showground venue near Bradford and finished 10th.
