Rajasthan Royals are one of the potent sides in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 season. A mix of youth and experience with solid performers give the Royals a serious side with guaranteed entertainment. 2008 champions RR, who were the runners-up in 2022, missed out on the playoffs last season, finishing fifth in the 10-team table. RR went to retain most of their core ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, where they spent heavily on West Indies star Rovman Powell and uncapped Indian player Dhruv Shorey. Notably, the Royals traded in Avesh Khan from Lucknow Super Giants, allowing Devdutt Padikkal to move the other way.

RR have a dangerous batting unit where most players strike above 140. Their spin and pace department boasts quality names. RR look like a side who are a complete package under Sanju Samson’s leadership. However, the Royals want to showcase consistency, and if everyone clicks, it will be difficult to stop them.
