As a liberal arts student, Rowanne, 20, has been interested in social and environmental justice throughout her time at university.

She explored a range of groups to join but found herself feeling disillusioned when she felt their words and actions didn't align.
She joined Extinction Rebellion a year ago because they appeared more proactive than other groups.
Rowanne said: "Extinction Rebellion offered an alternative society which a lot of other groups didn't. [Other groups] critiqued the way the world currently works but they weren't really trying to build an alternative.
