There's lots of self-sown space invaders

Free plants anyone? You could be asking this question a month or so down the line simply by looking carefully in your ornamental border(s) now and collecting a diversity of specimens that have self-sown.

Get them into pots with a little compost, water once and leave them outside to develop, safe in the knowledge that they're hardy.

Such windfall harvests are a regular occurrence in this garden, and they comprise of shrubs, biennial, and perennial plants.
