Start of gas works will bring traffic lights to busy Leeds road

Temporary traffic lights will be introduced on a busy Leeds road from next week as six months of gas works begin.

Northern Gas Networks (NGN) will next week begin carrying out essential work to replace metal pipework with new, more durable plastic pipes along the A64 York Road.
From January 5, temporary two-way traffic lights will be in place starting at the junction with Stockheld Lane, next to Leeds Caravan Centre near Scholes.
