Ballon d'or winner Rodri has not started a game since suffering a hamstring injury in October's 1-0 win at Brentford in which the midfielder was taken off after 22 minutes.
After missing the Premier League clashes against Everton and Aston Villa, Rodri then bagged one minute from the bench in the 3-1 win at home to Bournemouth at the start of the month but the 29-year-old has not featured since.
