A celebration of all things kitsch in the decade that fashion forgot - what could be more apt?

This marriage made in satin and floral print heaven is celebrated in Channel 5's The Best of Eurovision in the 70s.

The show does exactly what it says on the tin - it brings the lucky viewer footage of fabulous horrors such as Cliff Richard's frankly bizarre dance in Power To All Our Friends (think Bruce Grobbelaar's wobbly knees against Roma, only with a far worse shirt).

Everywhere you look there are kaftans, platform boots, whopping collars, flares so wide they have a life of their own - and that's just the presenters.

These are the days when the UK actually had a good chance of winning. The days before everyone fell out with us over Brexit and before Australia started taking part.
