Sent-home Pizza Hut staff 'in the dark' over sudden closures

Staff at Pizza Hut in Leeds were told to shut up shop and go home.

Following the sudden closures, staff told the YEP that no clear information from management had been received. According to Pizza Hut, it follows the appointment of administrators by the owners of the American chain, with 68 restaurants earmarked for closure.

A member of staff, who wishes to remain anonymous, described being called by managers just before 10am and instructed to close their unit and send home staff.
