Real estate developer and investor BlueCastle Capital has acquired a major Leeds city centre site for an undisclosed sum.

Located in Wellington Street, within the city's Wellington Place quarter, the site forms part of the former headquarters of the Yorkshire Evening Post.

Ed Williams, CEO of BlueCastle Capital, said: "Leeds stands out as one of the country's most compelling rental markets, underpinned by employment growth, a young and skilled population and long-term regeneration.
