Children and pregnant women urged to get flu jabs

Children and pregnant women are set to receive their flu jabs this week as health chiefs begin their winter vaccine rollout.

The NHS is sending out millions of invitations to remind eligible people to come forward but they do not need to wait for an invitation to book; it can be done via the NHS website, NHS App, or by calling 119.
Mums to be and all children 2-16 are eligible for the flu vaccine, with this extending to those aged six months to 18 years in clinical risk groups.
