Two gangsters demanding ransom arrested during police encounter

Under the special campaign launched by Punjab Police on the directions of the Punjab Government against smugglers, antisocial elements, and gangsters, the Jalandhar Rural Police have succeeded in arresting two dangerous gangsters demanding ransom during a police encounter, from whom a large quantity of intoxicating tablets, 2 illegal pistols, and ammunition have been recovered.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar Rural, Harvinder Singh Virk informed that this success was achieved by the team of DSP Shahkot Onkar Singh Barar, SHO Shahkot Police Station, Balwinder Singh Bhullar.
