NIIELM University conducts awareness drive for farmers on rice crop protection

The School of Agriculture at NIIELM University, Kaithal, organized an awareness programme in Gram Panchayat, Block Indri, Karnal district, under the Seed Grant Project titled "Mapping of Hotspots and Host Resistance of Meloidogyne graminicola in Rice-Growing Areas.
The session aimed to educate local farmers about effective management strategies to protect their rice crops from Meloidogyne graminicola, a root-knot nematode that poses a serious threat to rice yield.
