Cabinet approves 1000 posts of Pashu Mitras

The State Cabinet in its meeting held today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, approved the Pashu Mitra Policy-2025.
Under this policy, 1,000 posts of Multi-Task Workers (Pashu Mitras) will be filled in the Animal Husbandry department.
It okayed filling-up of 100 posts of Junior Office Assistant (Library) in the Education department to ensure smooth functioning of the school libraries.
Additionally, it approved the creation of 10 posts of Senior Assistant and 15 posts of Junior Office Assistant (IT) in the Revenue Department.
