A meeting of Encord was held at the District Secretariat here on Friday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Uttam Singh.
In this, District Jurist Dr. Pankaj Saini informed that nine cases were settled in April under the NDPS Act. Out of this, in eight cases accused were sentenced and an accused was acquitted. Four new cases have come in this month. In the meeting, it was informed by the Health Department that eight de - addiction centers were currently running in the district.
