Luckless Tavistock are beaten again

Non-teague football
TAVISTOCK suffered another blow in their quest to stay in Southern League Division One by going down to another narrow defeat at home to Winchester City on Wednesday.
An early Jamie Barron goal set the Hampshire side on their way and it could have been more as they dominated the first half. Luke King then doubled Winchester’s lead and as Tavi rallied, Jack Crago pulled one back for the Lambs, who were unable to force the equalising goal.
Defeat leaves Tavistock rooted to the foot of the table and 12 points adrift of safety now ahead of tomorrow's ‘must win’ clash at Bashley, who are one place and six points above the Lambs at the foot of the table.
