TRURO firm, Mei Loci Landscape Architects, has made a permanent move to a four day-working week, without reducing staff pay.

Its 10 employees now work 32 hours over four days, earning the firm Gold Standard accreditation from the 4 Day Week Foundation.

“In the last few years the four-day week has become more and more popular and is now being trialled and implemented across the world,’ said Mike Hawes, a director of Mei Loci. “Numerous studies have shown that moving to a four-day week boosts productivity and workers’ wellbeing.
