Christie home joins cultural network

AGATHA Christie's Devon holiday home has been given a special honour to “inspire future generations”.

Greenway, which is now cared for by the National Trust, has joined Exeter UNESCO City of Literature’s cultural sector network.

The charity says its inclusion will “enrich the region’s literary landscape”.

The network is made up of literary and cultural organisations “committed to promoting inclusivity and creativity, while also amplifying Devon’s arts and cultures on a global stage”.

Exeter is currently the only city in the south of the UK to hold the UNESCO City of Literature designation and is part of a global network of 53 Cities of Literature.
