Tributes to City Hospice founder who ‘touched so many lives'

Dr Elinor Kapp, who helped to set up Cardiff's City Hospice in the 1980s, died peacefully on Saturday. Those at the hospice said she “will live on” in the care they continue to provide.

Recognising the urgent need for palliative care service in the city, Dr Kapp played a leading role in founding City Hospice in 1984, transforming the way end of life care was understood and delivered in Cardiff.
