Rock star home after cardiac arrest

THE wife of Welsh rock legend Dave Edmunds has updated fans on the singer's condition after his cardiac arrest.

The Cardiff-born star was left fighting for his life in hospital after the incident at his home in Monmouthshire last month. However, his wife Cecelia Edmunds, known as Cici, now says his prognosis is "looking positive".
The 81-year-old, best known for his 1970 Christmas number-one hit, a cover of Smiley Lewis' I Hear You Knocking, and later a member of Rockpile with Nick Lowe, reportedly "died in her arms" before being revived by medical professionals.
