Landlady: Pub sold out from under me

AN ANGRY pub landlady has accused the pub owners of selling the premises behind her back after a large fire.

Angela Scott ran the Queens Hotel in Blaenau Ffestiniog, which was owned by brewery Admiral Taverns, for years and recently thought someone was breaking into the building in the Gwynedd town's high street before realising her beloved business had been sold without her knowledge.

The person she believed was breaking into the premises had actually recently bought it, which Angela said she knew nothing about. Angela, who claimed she had first refusal on the building should Admiral Taverns wish to sell it, said overnight she became homeless.

Admiral Taverns denied any agreement was in place between them and Angela.
