THE Good Food Guide has named a former cowshed the best local restaurant in Wales.

Paternoster Farm in Hundleton, Pembrokeshire, has been voted this year’s Welsh winner in the guide's Britain’s 100 Best Local Restaurants 2025.

The award comes only days after the restaurant, which was facing eviction, secured a temporary reprieve after months of public pressure and calls for transparency from Pembrokeshire council.

Over the years, Paternoster Farm has received critical acclaim and rave reviews by the likes of The Good Food Guide, The Times and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall. But in May, the restaurant was told it would have to close as its lease on the farm had not been renewed by its landlord - Pembrokeshire council.
